This Cookie Policy lists every cookie and tracking technology we use on the ManySignal website — by name, not just category. We include the provider, exact duration, and opt-out path for each one. We believe you should know exactly what is tracking you.

01

What are cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognise your device and remember certain information across page loads and visits. Cookies serve a range of purposes, from keeping you logged in to helping us understand how visitors navigate the site so we can improve it.

In addition to cookies, we use related technologies including local storage, session storage, pixel tags (web beacons), and browser fingerprinting signals for similar purposes. This policy covers all such technologies collectively referred to as "cookies" unless stated otherwise.

02

Who sets cookies on this site

Cookies are set by ManySignal, Inc. ("first-party cookies") and by third-party service providers whose code we have integrated into the site or Service ("third-party cookies"). Third-party providers are listed in this policy and in the consent manager. You can manage third-party cookies through the consent manager or through your browser settings.

03

Strictly necessary cookies

Cookie name Set by Purpose Duration
ms_session ManySignal Maintains authenticated session for logged-in platform users Session
ms_csrf ManySignal Cross-site request forgery protection token, regenerated per request Session
ms_consent ManySignal Records the visitor's cookie consent choices to prevent repeated display of the consent banner 12 months
ms_rate_limit ManySignal Rate-limiting token to protect login endpoints from brute-force attacks 1 hour
__cf_bm Cloudflare Bot management cookie used to distinguish human visitors from automated traffic 30 minutes

Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled through the consent manager because the site and platform cannot function without them. You may configure your browser to block all cookies, but this will prevent you from logging in to the ManySignal platform.

04

Analytics cookies

Cookie name Provider Purpose Duration
ph_project_token PostHog Identifies the PostHog project for event collection; no personal data sent to third-party servers (self-hosted on EU GCP) 1 year
ph_distinct_id PostHog Pseudonymous visitor identifier used to stitch page views into sessions 1 year
ph_session_id PostHog Identifies the current browsing session; resets after 30 minutes of inactivity 30 minutes

Analytics cookies help us measure how many visitors we receive, which pages are most visited, and where visitors come from. This data is used in aggregate and is not used to identify individual visitors. Analytics cookies are optional and can be declined without affecting your ability to browse the site.

05

Marketing cookies

Cookie name Provider Purpose Duration
hubspotutk HubSpot Tracks visitor identity for lead attribution across sessions and form submissions 13 months
__hstc HubSpot Main tracking cookie for website traffic analytics and CRM lead scoring 13 months
__hssc HubSpot Session-scoped HubSpot cookie; counts sessions for analytics 30 minutes
li_fat_id LinkedIn LinkedIn Insight Tag member indirect identifier for conversion tracking and retargeting 30 days
_gcl_au Google Google Ads conversion linker; attributed ad-click to on-site conversion events 90 days

Marketing cookies help us measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and allow us to show relevant ManySignal advertising on other platforms (including LinkedIn and Google) to visitors who have expressed interest. Marketing cookies are optional. Declining them does not affect your experience on the ManySignal website.

06

Managing your cookie preferences

When you first visit the ManySignal website, a consent banner will appear offering you the choice to accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or customise your preferences by category. Your selection is saved in the ms_consent cookie for 12 months.

You can change your preferences at any time by clicking the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer of any page on the site. You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling cookies in your browser will affect all websites you visit, not just ManySignal.

For users in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we will not activate analytics or marketing cookies before you have given your affirmative consent. For all other regions, analytics cookies are activated on a legitimate-interest basis; you may opt out at any time.

07

Updates to this policy

ManySignal may update this Cookie Policy as we add or remove cookies or tracking technologies, or as regulatory requirements change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the date of the most recent change. Material changes — such as the addition of a new third-party advertising technology — will be communicated via an updated consent banner on your next visit.
