UAE data residency with NESA IA, PDPL, and ADGM/DIFC compliance
All UAE customer data stays in AWS ME-CENTRAL-1 (Dubai). ManySignal supports UAE Information Assurance standards, the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, and the specific cybersecurity requirements of ADGM and DIFC financial centres — with Arabic-language support available.
UAE data residency guarantees
Storage region
AWS ME-CENTRAL-1 (Dubai, UAE) — all log data, entity graph, and case records stored in-country. No transfer outside UAE under default deployment configuration.
Processing boundary
Detection, AI inference, and analytics run entirely within AWS Dubai infrastructure. UAE customer data does not traverse non-UAE endpoints under any circumstances.
Sovereign cloud option
For government and CII customers requiring sovereign cloud isolation, ManySignal can be deployed in dedicated VPC tenancy within AWS UAE, with no shared infrastructure with commercial tenants.

UAE data residency — common questions
Where is UAE customer data stored and processed?
UAE customer data is stored and processed in AWS ME-CENTRAL-1 (UAE, Dubai). This is AWS's dedicated UAE region, launched in 2022. No UAE customer data is transferred outside the UAE under default deployment. For customers requiring DIFC or ADGM zone-specific compliance, additional data governance controls are applied.
How does ManySignal comply with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (PDPL)?
The UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) imposes data localisation and cross-border transfer restrictions on organisations processing personal data in the UAE. ManySignal acts as a Data Processor under the PDPL, processes data only on instruction from the Data Controller (customer), and maintains data within the UAE under default deployment. Cross-border access by support staff is subject to the PDPL's adequate protection requirements and is logged.
Does ManySignal support UAE IA (Information Assurance) standards?
Yes. ManySignal maps to the UAE National Electronic Security Authority (NESA) Information Assurance (IA) standards and the UAE Cybersecurity Council's National Cybersecurity Strategy requirements. Specific support includes monitoring controls aligned to the NESA IA framework's Technical Security Controls (TSC) and Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) requirements.
What is the UAE cybersecurity incident reporting requirement?
The UAE Cybersecurity Council and NESA require organisations operating critical information infrastructure (CII) to report cybersecurity incidents to the Cybersecurity Council within timelines specified in the UAE Cybersecurity Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021). ManySignal's incident management module tracks these reporting requirements and pre-populates the notification template for CII-designated organisations.
Does ManySignal support ADGM and DIFC financial sector cybersecurity requirements?
Yes. ManySignal supports Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) cybersecurity requirements and Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Data Protection Law No. 5 of 2020. Both ADGM and DIFC operate their own legal frameworks separate from UAE federal law. ManySignal's compliance mapping covers both zones' requirements, and the DPA is adapted for DIFC and ADGM data protection laws.
